Empties #5

Some more mini reviews of products I've finished recently!

This is my favourite brow pencil and I've probably gone through a few of these! On one end is a very fine pencil that is great for mimicking natural hairs. On the other is a very handy spoolie that I use first before the pencil to find my shape and also after to blend the product.

These were part of a sample box I bought and while they were nice enough to use, I didn't see enough of a difference to repurchase. They were comfortable to wear for the recommended time and were easy to peel off after.

I liked this eye cream, but I'm not sure how I feel about products that claim to be 'brightening' but they just contain shimmer. Although this is an eye cream, I thought of it more as a makeup product. It did have a brightening effect as claimed and also hydrated well, but I probably won't purchase again.

Unfortunately this particular version, Frosted Plum, was limited edition but there are plenty of other permanent scents available. I really like TBS shower gels because they have a good amount of fragrance and also lather up well. I regularly stock up on these when there's an offer available!

I really enjoyed using this moisturiser! It's quite a thick cream but it almost slightly mattifying on my normal to oily prone skin. I haven't bought this again yet because I have plenty of day creams still to use up, but I definitely will do at some point!

No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser (new version)
This has since been reformulated and repackaged but I have tried the new version too and it is very similar in texture and works just as well. I really like this cream cleanser both for makeup removal and as a second step or morning skin cleanse. I have already started using a new one!

I made the switch to aluminium free deodorants a few years ago and am happy to see they are becoming more readily available. This is one of my favourites - it's both effective and has such a nice scent that I've been asked if it's a fragrance! The only thing I don't like is that there isn't a lid so it's a bit risky to travel with. I'm currently using something different but will happily buy this one again.
