A Few Things From The Ordinary

28.5.18

I've been a big fan of The Ordinary from parent company Deciem since their launch and have tried a few of their products so far. I really like being able to trial different ingredients without having to invest a huge amount. Although the names can be confusing, there are plenty of resources to help explain what each product is for and how often to use it. After doing some research, these are the four serums I decided to purchase.

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
This is great for boosting hydration and I like to use this serum morning and evening before moisturiser. I use three drops for my whole face and neck and it absorbs quickly. This is definitely a product I can see myself regularly repurchasing and keeping in stock.

Salicylic Acid 2%
My skin is normal to oily and goes through phases of being quite spot prone. When this is the case, I apply a few drops to my whole face, and this helps to clear up my skin. I also like to use this as a treatment and dab a little directly on spots overnight. Come morning any redness is definitely reduced.

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
This is actually a repurchase and I remembered liking it so much I wanted it again. It claims to tackle spots, visible pores, and uneven skin tone - basically everything I need in one product! I really liked using this in the morning before moisturiser and makeup as it did help a bit with oil control.

EUK 134 0.1%
Lastly, an antioxidant serum. I've known for a long time that antioxidants are very beneficial but never really used one consistently in my routine. I only use this in the evening as it does take a couple of minutes to sink in and leaves my skin quite shiny.
